Open Data Importer
Open Data Importer is a Home Assistant project for turning useful public and external datasets into Home Assistant entities that can be displayed, automated, retained in history, and combined with local device data.
What it is for
- Pull structured data from external sources.
- Expose selected values to Home Assistant as useful entities.
- Make public data available to dashboards and automations.
- Reduce the amount of one-off YAML or custom scripting needed for each dataset.
Project status
Active development. The current implementation, examples, installation details, and issue tracker live in the GitHub repository.
